Social Media Predicts NFL Week 13 Matchups

With 12 weeks in the books on the 2012 NFL season, it’s pretty safe to say that you probably know if your NFL team has a shot at making the post season. Over the course of the season we have been picking games using social media buzz (full data method here) and matched it up against a friend in the social web who picks using their own methodology. Some pick by jersey color others by cuter quarterbacks. So far the social media NFL picks have done pretty good with an overall 95-80-1 mark after a 9-7 Week 12.

This week we have a first for the season. Instead of one friend, I have two picking games, mostly due to poor planning on my part. The first is my man Eric Berto a loyal Seahawks fan from the Left Coast and the other is my buddy Jesse Bekas who I grew up with in Jersey. Both dudes are up for the $100 prize to a charity of their choice if they boast the best weekly record. Below is a video of this week’s picks:
