Over the course of the 2012 NFL season we’ve racked up a 117-83-1 mark predicting NFL games using social media buzz. The methodology uses buzz collected using Lithium Social Media Monitoring and some formulas to predict the winner of each of the weekend’s games (more on that here). It is not scientific, but is more fun for a dork like me than say looking at jersey colors or hotter cheerleaders.

To help add some intrigue to the mix, each week I ask a friend from across the Interwebs to pick the winners to see how my social picks stack up. The person with the most wins will get 100 bucks to a charity of their choice. This week’s contestant is Daniel Agee who hails from Portland, Oregon, but likes the Cowboys… I also think he may have picked the winners based on which city has better beer.
