How ebay could care less about a fraud call

Yesterday I got some fishy emails from eBay noting that I had printed a boat ton of shipping labels and was charged for them. Upon checking my eBay and PayPal accounts, there was nothing there so, I figured it was just a phishing scheme… unfortunately it was not. My account got hacked and I got charged close to $400 for shipping labels for something that I had shipped out in July.

So I called up PayPal and Jason on their team was awesome and helped create dispute tickets for me in no time, but mentioned that I would have to talk to eBay as well as the labels were printed on their site… I was warm transferred to a rep who then transferred me to a member of the fraud team. She politely verified my information and asked me to hold while she pulled up my account… well at the time of this post I have been on hold for 60 minutes and reached out to the Twitter team at the 20 minute mark who asked me to email but have yet to respond…

Here’s more on the topic:

I’ll update when things get settled on this… ball is in your court eBay…

Update… My wife suggested I hang up and try calling again…. another 30 minutes a good dude named Spencer took care of me, but I need to follow up in 2-3 business days… still pissed but the ball is rolling… eBay (sans Spencer) you are on my shit list and your social team still hasn’t responded to the email I sent them 90 minutes ago… so once again eBay – ball is in your court…

@AskeBay @PayPal @eBay Thanks for the response. Does the email sent about suspending account impact auctions that I am in on now?
