Crowdsourcing may be one of the more interesting aspects of the social web. In Enterprise Social Technology from Scott Klososky, the principle was put to use in creating the book from the text to the cover art.
The book does a good job of showing how businesses can implement both social technology and crowdsourcing. One downside is that at times the text doesn’t flow too smoothly, which can be attributed to the crowdsourced nature.
I just wanted to thank you for the review – I thought your comments are right on about the crowdsoucing aspect of the book. We really struggled with how much to edit out the unique voices. Do you think we should have done a better job? It seemed to bother you a bit. I would love to know for the next time we use crowdscribing as a tool…
@sklososky Scott, thanks for sending along the book. I did enjoy it, and sorry if it came off as bothered 🙂 In some chapters, you could tell that the experiences and style of the writers were different than your own. So there was some disjointedness. Does that make sense? More than happy to discuss via email as well.
It is a wonderful review by you.It is really interesting to see this video. Thanks for sharing so important information with us.Thanks!
