Everyone has a charity that is near and dear to them. Today the Jimmy Fund, one of my favorite charities, is hosting their 9th annual WEEI/NESN telethon to raise money to benefit their lifesaving mission at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Their goal for this year’s telethon is to raise$5 million, up from last year’s tally of $4.5 million.
The charity is all about helping kids with cancer. Smiles, ball games and time with friends is something we all take for granted. The Jimmy Fund gives these things to kids who are really in need. Please consider donating today to help them reach their goal.
