It’s no secret that yesterday was the end of winter (according to the calendar, fingers crossed). We had a lovely 70 degree day that was perfect for an afternoon stroll by the water.
When I walked Cupcake Charlie’s in Plymouth, MA I had to snap a photo because the logo stood out from the old fashioned and classic images related to the town’s fishing-themed restaurants. It also screamed hey its warm outside, I’m fun come eat my cupcakes. Judging by the full store, they must be pretty damn good.
Now I am not sure who the owner or marketing director of the company is, but I’d like to shake their hand. Unlike many bakeries that rely on sense of smell to draw in customers, Cupcake Charlie’s uses a welcoming cartoon that draws in children and children at heart. It also captures the fun and carefree attitude of the spring/summer that the town relies on for tourism.
Here are some other images from the walk. How did you enjoy the first day of spring?
