Video Book Review – One Fan's Story

Remember when MySpace was cool? Don’t lie you had one of those profiles that was pimped out with music, photos and a background that no one could see.  It was cool and hip and more and more people were exposing their lives for the whole world to see. During that time I met Jared Carrabis, who was the founder and content producer of SoxSpace which was the hub for anyone with an interest in the Boston Red Sox. The community grew so large and powerful that it withstood an attempt by MLB to have the site purge all content that mentioned or used their content. At the time he was 18 years old and was starting his journalism career. While there were some folks who wished to throw dirt on the kid, I threw some kind words of advice (not sure if they ever helped) and let him know that if the book he was planning on writing ever hit the presses, I would give it a read.
