			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While getting more familiar with <a href="http://www.twitter.com" target="_blank">Twitter</a>, I kept hearing about <a href="http://journchat.info/" target="_blank">#Journchat</a> from a variety of users. And after reading <img class="alignright" title="cartoon" src="http://laikaspoetnik.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/twitter-addicts.jpg" alt="" width="239" height="273" />more about it from <a href="http://prsarahevans.com/" target="_blank">Sarah Evans</a>, decided to log in an give it a try.</p>
<p>So what is #Journchat? It is an ongoing conversation that allows journalists, publicists and PR folks to connect and give their opinions on a topic without selling themselves. While my time in the chat was cut short due to complications with Twitter and the overflow of bandwidth from an event down in DC &#8211; you&#8217;d think inaugurations only happened every four or eight years &#8211; I did find it very useful and look forward to attending next week&#8217;s chat.</p>
