For the past two days, I was sequestered with about 400-500 social media, PR, marketing and sales folks at the 2009 Inbound Marketing Summit. There were a lot of great folks at the show. Perhaps the most interesting thing was that there were no real presentations that focused on the ME, ME, ME, but was rather filled with trust agents, brand shepherds, vendors and overall gurus - some self-appointed, but lets not go there. I made some great acquaintances and met folks in REAL LIFE with the main takeaway being that 1. PR is Changing, 2. Companies need to incorporate social media into their sites to increase their customer confidence 3. It is all about trust - when we lose that, we lose our customer and the share of the conversation.

Over the past month or so there is one commercial, whether in print or on the tube, that seems to fascinate me and
keep me thinking after seeing it. While commercials with beautiful women, a funny beer ad or a combination of the two might jump into mind, its actually a company that you would never guess.
