Five for Friday

I am really looking forward to this weekend. On one hand it means I am just one more work day before heading to Florida on a family vacation and on the other, well I get to watch a bet with my brother on who wins the Ravens-Jets tilt this weekend. I am really looking forward to him rocking a Ravens jersey at Christmas. Only downside to the week was the humidity and flipping rain yesterday, hopefully the weekend is nicer. How was your week? Hopefully it was a good one and you have a great weekend. Hope you enjoy this week’s edition of Five for Friday.

The Stupid Things You Do at Work (and How to Fix Them) – I read this article on Monday and was turning back to it for a smirk. I am going to guess that you probably do at least one of these each day.

Tennessee team vacates wins after mom’s Facebook scolding – This story is one part big brother and one part dumbass and 100 percent funny. Growing up I remember my mom telling me not to be an idiot and I try to hold that standard now with my online activity. If only this mother could heed my dear old mum’s advice.

Patients use social media to inspire Mayo Clinic heart research – Good example of social media doing good.

A tale of two agency social media models – I love this rant from Oliver Blanchard on different types of agencies. While I don’t work in one, I have heard horror stories about folks being led astray by a gold digger…only to find out that they are in the same place they started but out some coin.
