Hopefully the title caught your eye. Yesterday afternoon, I made my first public speaking appearance. Now I will not say that I am the best public speaker, and know that I have a lot to improve upon

I know that it is an imperfect science and hell I want to get better. So assuming you like me in some way shape or form (you came to my blog so I have to assume that you do), I am asking you to offer honest feedback on my presentation if you have time. It is 39 minutes so feel free to watch as long as you would like and let me know what you think. I am a big boy and can take any criticism or words of improvement. I have already self-critiqued and ripped it down to the bones, so let me have it.

Thanks Chris. I appreciate the feedback. I am from New Jersey, so talking fast is something that just comes naturally. I think on future presentations you will see more of the jeffespo you want to see, this was a spot where we were a case study and I really am too animated to sit down.

Good info. on the campaign!

Think given that you were sitting down and the subject matter - specific elements of an integrated campaign - you did great.

Think from minute 18:00 on, the best parts are when you're looking away from the laptop/less precise with some of the language (press release, FB/T interactions) - especially when the slide isn't copy heavy.

Your pace seems to be close to your natural pace, which is really confident and could, sometimes, be too quick?

Might be impossible, but wanted more jeffespo to come through during the company intro. slide/facts!

Yes...It is uncomfortable sitting down...not a natural feeling at all.

Thanks Andrea. I did recite them for the most part and was uncomfortable having to sit down.

I think you did great, you do know your stuff, you knew your subject matter. With that said, people will often refer to their notes more than necessary out of nervousness. You could probably have recited all of your notes in your sleep...so next time have more confidence in yourself...we do!
