Inbound Marketing Summit Boston

For the past two days, I was sequestered with about 400-500 social media, PR, marketing and sales folks at the 2009 Inbound Marketing Summit. There were a lot of great folks at the show. Perhaps the most interesting thing was that there were no real presentations that focused on the ME, ME, ME, but was rather filled with trust agents, brand shepherds, vendors and overall gurus – some self-appointed, but lets not go there. I made some great acquaintances and met folks in REAL LIFE with the main takeaway being that 1. PR is Changing, 2. Companies need to incorporate social media into their sites to increase their customer confidence 3. It is all about trust – when we lose that, we lose our customer and the share of the conversation.

Below are some of my favorite presentations of the summit.
