Over the past few years, Google Maps has not only surpassed Mapquest as a reliable direction outlet, but also a great spot to check out candid images. Whether it’s the USC sunbathers or catching a bank robber, we’ve had some entertainment. However today, I came across a Tweet from @joe_carney that showed something reserved for an 80’s horror flick called Jaws.
Looking at the Tweet’s text Australia Photos ยป Shark Spotted on Google Maps at Manly Beach, Sydney http://bit.ly/1ah0t2, had me hooked and was also ind of shocked at how close the surfer was to the shark.
